Residing in Nice in the South of France, Laura’s artistic approach is rooted in presence and attentive observation.
Rather than directing or imposing, she enters each environment with sensitivity, allowing the image to emerge from a space of trust and authenticity.
Her work unfolds through a quiet dialogue between body, movement and the natural world — whether alongside apnea athletes during major freediving events, within underwater artistic explorations, or through her series devoted to horses and wildlife.
Guided by patience, respect for boundaries and a deep commitment to the living world, she seeks not to capture spectacle, but to reveal the subtle moment where vulnerability becomes strength and movement becomes truth.
In 2025, her work has been nominated by the Exposure One Awards.
She has dedicated several years to training as a freediver, enabling her to hold her breath longer, which is essential for her art. All her photographs are taken on a single breath hold, rather than using scuba diving gear
For subjects who are inexperienced in freediving, Laura provides instruction and training, as she is a certified instructor in this field.

The breath is paused
Silence becomes
Presence is key
Embodiment appears
Only back to the surface, the mind surfaces too
Starting doubting "I'm in the dark"
Yet, the light was on all along.
Cultivating those moments of pure presence
To bring the omnipresent light
When darkness encloses us.
